You may schedule your appointment online at ciphotoca.com  By creating your appointment online, you will be able to view the variety of sessions we offer as well as make payment prior to the session so checking in is easy!

You may also reschedule by giving us a call at 925-485-6025 and one of our associates will assist you.

The yearbook requirements are determined by the school. Each of our sessions will reflect that requirement as well as other options for personal use. Standard retouching is included for poses ordered or selected for the yearbook. Our standard retouching will remove facial blemishes on the finished portraits.

We have 3 different types of studio sessions: 

  • Sessions range from Basic (minimum requirement for yearbook) to the Ultimate, plus a variety of add-ons to any session.
  • Basic- Up to 8 poses in the yearbook required attire and background
  • Double- Up to 20 poses split between the yearbook required attire as well as another outfit or colored background
  • Ultimate- Up to 36 poses split between the yearbook required attire and your choice or either two other outfits, or one other outfit and colored backgrounds
  • You may add additional outfits to your session for $19.99 plus tax. You can upgrade any session by adding the additional outfit.   


Liberty High School has specific yearbook requirements each year, predetermined by the yearbook advisor. We will provide drapes, tuxedos, and cap and gown attire if they choose to upgrade their session.

  • Basic- Up to 8 poses in a dress code appropriate outfit
  • Double- Up to 20 poses and two outfits
  • Ultimate- Up to 36 poses and three outfits


The length of a session ranges anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes depending on the session choice.

The best of your images will be available to view and order online within approximately two weeks of the session.  OR you can upgrade your viewing options with the following:

  • BONUS PREVIEWS: increases the number of poses available for you to view online within two weeks of your session*.

 *Note: The number of additional poses varies depending on the session choice.

We still offer printed previews for $50+tax.  Within three weeks, your best poses will be printed and mailed to your home for you to keep.  When your portrait order is placed within two weeks, you will receive $10 off a portrait order of $130 or more.

  • We offer several options for environmental sessions.
  • For an environmental session within 20 miles of our Pleasanton Studio, the fee is $125.00. We have several locations that we use in various areas that can reflect the style you are looking to achieve.
  • Payment for the session is required 1 week prior to the sitting.
  • Females: Tube tops or tank tops make it more convenient to dress you in the traditional drape and the cap and gown attire.
  • Males: A plain white, short sleeved t-shirt with no writing on the front is the most convenient. Any shirt with no collar is acceptable.
  • * If your school requires specific requirements, you must come ready with the attire they specify. Clothing that is not school appropriate will not be permitted and a separate appointment may be required.
  • We encourage you to bring your favorite outfit, athletic uniform or letterman jacket, and/or personal props such as musical instruments, football, ice skates, etc. This will allow the personal images to reflect your individuality. Be sure to avoid clothing that is too tight or extremely loose fitting, or any clothing with emblems or loud patterns.

The session fee covers time spent taking your portraits, which requires the time of both a photographer and a photographer’s assistant.

After your session, you will receive an email with information on how to log-in and view the poses from your session.  The email will provide you with a link and information to access your account. These poses on the website have not been color corrected or retouched. You may also opt to have printed previews for a fee of $50 plus tax. The printed previews are yours to keep.

Portraits are not included in the session payment.  You may purchase portraits upon receiving the previews and ordering information online.

You will receive an email with a link to view the poses you took during your session.  These images will be online for two weeks, after the two weeks; a fee may apply in order to reactivate the account.  If you upgraded your viewing option you will have more poses uploaded. Ask our customer service representative about these options. 

You may come into the studio if you need assistance with ordering. We do not take orders over the phone in order to avoid any discrepancies.

Each school has a specific yearbook deadline. We encourage submitting the yearbook selection as soon as possible. If a yearbook selection is not chosen by the deadline, one of our professional staff members will choose one for you. Be sure to pay attention to the background color that is selected. Most schools require a grey background with traditional yearbook attire however, some schools have different requirements.

**Please note that all previews are not retouched and should not be judged on the lightness, darkness or color correction. We recommend choosing the best poses based on expression, pose, background, etc.

Retakes are an option however; a retake fee is charged for any of the following: outfit changes, changes in hair style, ill fitting or wrinkled clothes, poor facial expressions, shine, glass glare, or tan lines.

Ordering Portraits

To order, you are welcome to do so online based on the information we send after the session. You may come into our studio to order as well. To avoid any discrepancies, we do not take phone orders.

Yes. We do archive images from prior years. In order to access the images, there is an archive retrieval fee of $30. This fee will allow you to view the images and order online.

Yes, an appointment is necessary to place your order in the studio. Our studio is located at  3918 Valley Ave, Suite A, Pleasanton, CA 94566. Call ahead for studio hours: 925-485-6025, as they do vary.

A pose is a single image that you select to be printed.  Only one pose can be selected per sheet.

Each package includes a set amount of poses. If you choose to add an additional pose to a package, an additional pose charge of $18 will be applied for each additional pose.  This will allow you to divide the sheets within your package between more poses; it does NOT give you extra sheets within the package.  There is only one pose per sheet (i.e. 2-5x7’s cannot be split into two poses, as it comes printed on one sheet).

A pose number is used to identify a photo from the previews. The pose numbers start with an "S" and are located above the pose. For example SA1 or SB2

The pose number is the combination of letters and numbers listed above each preview online  i.e.; SA1, SA2…

Portraits are printed in sheets. Only one pose is printed per sheet.

One sheet equals: 1-8x10 or 2-5x7 or 4-4x5 or 8 wallets.

Our standard wallet sized photo is 2” by 3”.

A mounted portrait is a sheet that is 11x14, 16x20 or 20x24. Due to the fragile nature of the portrait, the portraits are mounted on a 2mm mount board for stability. Mounted images are ready for framing.

Specialty Products

Signature wallets are wallet sized photographs that have your first name and graduation year printed on the photo. There is an $18, per pose, charge for signature wallets. Adding signature wallets to your order does not give you any more wallets with your order, it simply allows the name and school year to be printed.

Yes.  There is an $18 fee, per pose, to have it transformed into black and white. You may choose to have multiple sheets within the package black and white or just one individual sheet.

Yes. There is an $18 fee, per pose, to have it transformed into sepia. You may choose to have multiple sheets within the package sepia or just one individual sheet.

Gift folders are especially nice if you are giving portraits as gifts to family & friends. Gift folders are attractive mount frames with built in easels for immediate display.  Our gift folder frames are a charcoal color with black accents. If you are ordering a la carte, you may add on gift folders for $3 each!

Our deluxe finish provides a high quality, brilliant color, and professional fine linen texture to your portraits, similar to the texture of linen material. This is a more formal finish for these important portraits.

Yes, we can substitute a sheet for you. The fee is $10 plus tax. The substitution fee is for EACH sheet that is substituted within a package.

During fall season, orders are completed within 8-10 weeks from the time of ordering.  During spring season, completion can vary from 4-6 weeks or 6-8 weeks depending on the volume of orders we have. If you are having your order shipped, please allow 2-3 days for delivery of the order. The customer will be informed when the order is shipped via email with the tracking number.

A rush can be added to your order for an additional fee. By paying the fee, we are able to guarantee the order within the specified time. If there is shipping on the order, please allow 2-4 days for shipping from our Pleasanton studio to your home. 

Our shipping & handling fee covers the packaging of the product, postage, time, and resources for safe and reliable handling and shipping of the portraits. There is also an additional fee for each frame being shipped with your order and for graduation announcements. Some specialty items cannot be shipped due to their fragile nature.

Standard retouching is included for poses ordered or selected for the yearbook. Our standard retouching will remove facial blemishes on the finished portraits.

Special retouching can be completed on unruly hair (including unruly curls/flyways and reflection on hair), shine on face, body acne, mole removal, tattoo removal, adjusting clothing, teeth whitening, eye whitening,  braces, eyeglass glare, tan lines, background change, and other concerns not covered by standard retouching. 

Special retouching is not available for sunburns or facial hair. Other limitations do apply.  Please call us for a quote or to discuss specific concerns.

The additional charge is per pose for any special retouching that is requested.


The minimum quantity is 25 announcements. They are available in increments of 25, 50, and 75. The best pricing, if you may need more in the future, is purchasing 50 at one time.

The styles are pre-set templates and cannot be changed.  However, we have many different styles to offer.

The colors of the announcements are school colors, but can be changed at your request.

Wording cannot be customized. We ensure the information for each school is confirmed prior to printing.

We print graduation announcements in January, after the schools have confirmed their specific graduation dates and times.  Announcement orders take approximately 4 to 6 weeks. During peak season, in the spring, it may increase.  For an additional fee, you can add a rush to your announcement order.

Yes. You can order more announcements of the same style at a later date. The best deal is ordering 50 or 75 on the initial order.

Yearbook Selection

No.  As long as you have made a selection by dragging a pose into the area and received a confirmation email then you are all set.

Online Ordering Troubleshooting

Your Customer ID and Web Password are not activated until your images have been uploaded onto our online ordering system. Photos generally take 2-3 weeks after your photo session date to upload.

If it has been over 3 weeks and you still cannot access your images online, please call into our studio for assistance.

Your Customer ID and Coupon Code are CaSe SeNsItIvE and you must type it out as printed in your confirmation email. 

If you are still having trouble please contact us immediately. 

Each order that is generated online will have an order number associated.

Payments are often declined because the billing address or the CVV code was entered incorrectly. We recommend calling your credit card company to confirm that the billing address matches exactly as it does on your credit card statement. If you are still having an issue, please click This email address is being protected from spambots. Unfortunately, we do not accept orders placed with a prepaid credit card or gift card that does not have billing addresses associated with it. If you try to place an order and our system rejects the order, it is most likely because a billing address could not be verified. With that said, please call the company that issued the card and verify that the charge was declined. You will most likely also need to ask them to verify or update the billing address for the card if you plan on attempting to place another order. If you've reset your password and cannot remember what it is, try logging in again with the password Creative Imaging had originally sent you. 

The first thing you will want to try is to locate the scroll bars on the page. There are horizontal scroll bars at the bottom of the screen, and a second one located just above the black bar containing your photo previews. There is also a vertical scroll bar located on the right of the screen. 

If using these scroll bars are ineffective and the problem persists, the next step is to increase the current screen resolution in your display settings: if you are using a PC, right click on the computer Desktop and select "Properties" on the menu that pops up. Once the Properties window opens up, proceed to "Settings" by clicking on the corresponding tab at the top right of the window. Finally, from this tab you may use the line bar located under "Screen Resolution" to increase the current resolution. Try to use a setting of at least 1024x768.

Portrait Order Delivery

There are two options to receive your portrait order.  You can pick them up from our studio located in Pleasanton or have them shipped to your home when you pay shipping and handling.  Please note our shipping policy: Once your order is marked as "delivered" by the shipping company USPS, Creative Imaging is not responsible for replacement of lost or stolen items.
